COGÂLNICEANU

The tree has a moderate growth and a rounded crown. This tree variety differs from others by an early fruiting period and high productivity. Flowering type is protogynous. The best pollinators are Costiujeni and Calarasi trees varieties.

Walnut kernels are big enough and have a cylindrical shape. The top of the fruit is slightly convex, and has a flat bottom. The walnut peel is thin, smooth and of a pale yellow color. The walnut kernel is large and can be easily removed from the shell. It consists 48-50% from the walnut weight. Cogalniceanu variety gives a rich annual harvest.
